  1. Reblogged this on Teacher as Transformer and commented:
I don’t recall seeing this when we traveled through Yellowstone several years ago. It is a reminder to me that Nature possess an infinite range of power from the chaotic to the peaceful. I am one small part of it.

    • Lewis Falls is just south of the West Thumb area and are visible from the road, however quite far back. I used a lot of zoom to capture the size difference of the fisherman to the fall. Here is how it looks from the road.

Yellowstone is a magnificent place and has a large variety of landscapes from the chaotic to the peaceful. The fall is one of my favorites.

Thanks for the reblog, have a great day.

      • Thank you for the beautiful comment. The view is more inspiring with the long shot. It gives it a more complete majesty. We love our trip through the area and were close to the park again a couple of summers ago as we drove through Montana.

  2. What a beautiful piece of art! Thanks for sharing.

  3. It sure is a pretty picture, the solitude of fishing, being alone with ones thoughts, the fish, and the beauty of God’s creation.
