Day 310 – May 6 2010. “Mother’s Day miracle”

Several years ago I saw an advertisement for some phone company, I don’t remember which, and I still laugh thinking about it. A man and wife were in bed and he hands her his mother’s day present. Happily she pulls out a phone.  She’s so excited. Then with a puzzled look on her face as she pulls another phone from the box. The man cups his face with his hands and with a look of complete surprise exclaims “It’s a Mother’s Day miracle”.

Since then I’ve often thought of ways to make my own mother’s day miracle. My daughters and I haven’t been together since Christmas and we are all missing each other’s company. They are going through some tough times, thoroughly stressed and needing a break from Orlando. So I’m giving them a mother’s day miracle. I’m on my way to pick them up and take them to Georgia to visit our jubilee family.

I talked to Amber last night, she was so sad and I wanted so much to tell her I was on my way but I didn’t want to ruin the surprise. I’d see her in the morning.

I arrived early and she was so excited. We went to see Ash at work, we hugged and cried. I’m so glad to see them, so glad I could make them happy even if just for a moment.

What do you think?
